Daash Intelligence Reports Prestige Beauty Sales Drivers

Face and lip products remain key drivers as customers purchase foundation, concealer, lip glosses, and lip liners.

Daash Intelligence reported that makeup remains the largest driver of prestige beauty sales, accounting for 44% of the market. 

While overall prestige beauty is trending down (-6% YoY), categories like fragrance (+8%) and wellness, including vitamins/minerals/supplements (+18%), are seeing growth.

In the makeup category, the face segment remains the top contributor at 44% of prestige makeup.

Foundation, concealers, and blush account for 28% of prestige makeup sales. 

In the lip category, lipstick, gloss, and lip liners contribute to 11% of sales.
